Welcome to Trinity – Youth – Weekend at EBC, the time that we set aside to watch God work through our young people. Watch them use dance, drama, mime, song (from hip-hop to hymns), or some combination therein to glorify God. If you are not careful, you may find yourself having FUN during worship. Led by our Lay Pastor for Youth, Jocelyn Mann, Trinity Weekend is ministry in motion…full speed ahead! Please encourage them with your presence and participation.

Though I am away this weekend, I am leaving you in gifted hands: Rev. W. Douglas Banks, Lead Pastor of Destiny Christian Church in Lansdale, PA will preach the Connection Remix Service on Saturday at 5:30PM. Rev. William Lee, Chief Ministerial Officer of SHIFTPOINT Community Church in Jersey City, NJ will preach all three Sunday services. Make them feel at home.

On Saturday, May 23, please help me to welcome my brother, Elder Jason Nelson of Baltimore, Maryland’s Greater Bethlehem Church. Additionally, Relationship Weekend is on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14. Don’t get nervous. Rev. Newton is cooking up some creative fellowship activities for singles and married couples. Clear your calendars and stay tuned for more information.

Father’s Day is Sunday, June 21. And, as you’ve come to expect, EBC is approaching Father’s Day with a twist. Our own Sundi Lofty has written a multi-media production that will look at fatherhood from various angles and perspectives, all true to life experiences with which we can identify. Manifest contains a message for everyone: fathers, daughters and sons. Manifest, directed by Marcia Pendleton, will be presented on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, in lieu of the weekly worship service. Come out! Fathers, bring your children. Children, bring your fathers.
